Partying with the Kids
ATEC was closed for May Day, but Alaine and I went in anyway so we could catch up on stuff since our trip. Singer and Selva were there when we got home and we had dinner with them. Coni and a guy came by and we all hung out for a while. After they left Alaine and I went to bed.

Computers are Stupid!
I woke up at 2:30 a.m. and couldn’t get back to sleep. I read until 5:30 and then fell asleep. I got up around 9 and Alaine had gone to work. She left me egg salad for breakfast.
I spent some time working on the web site and then Alaine called and said she couldn’t get the email to work at the office. I tried to figure it out from here, but ended up having to go in and got it fixed finally.
I came home in time for lunch and Alaine stayed later. We had dinner with Mel (Sarah was in San José overnight).

Lost in Earth
I got up early and called Mel to see if we were still planning to take the motos in for their check-up. It had been raining all night but it stopped in the morning so we decided to give it a shot. About 50 km into the trip it started raining again. The whole trip was 150 km (94 miles for those of you using that archaic system) and I got wet even through my raingear. We had breakfat at a nearby café while we waited and then we took off for home. It had stopped raining for a while but it rained even harder on the way home. When we had a bit of a lull in the rain and were passing EARTH (Escuela de Agricultura para la Region Tropical Humeda, College of Agriculture for the Humid Tropical Region) so we drove around to look at what they’re doing. It was interesting but I would want to have a guide show me around and tell me what everything is.
